Sherman & Howard Welcomes 10 Summer AssociatesJune 1, 2010 The law firm of Sherman & Howard L.L.C. is pleased to announce that 10 summer associates will arrive in its Denver and Phoenix offices over the next week. The summer associates, who are first and second-year law students, will take part in a training program designed to give them significant exposure to the practice of law through hands-on involvement with actual client projects and the observation of real-world client situations including closings and conferences, as well as depositions, negotiations, hearings and trials. Each Sherman & Howard summer associate is assigned two mentors, a member and an associate, who provide guidance throughout the summer. Marcy Heronimus, Sherman & Howard's member in charge of the firm's Summer Associate program, notes that "Sherman & Howard has mentored and trained law students for many years and is proud to be able to continue that tradition." She adds, "Not only does our program provide law students a great exposure to the practice of law, we also believe this is one of the best ways we can ensure that we are adding the most talented lawyers to our practice."
