Three Sherman & Howard Lawyers Stand Out in “Super Lawyers”

March 11, 2010 - Sherman & Howard announces that three of its Denver attorneys have again ranked among Colorado Super Lawyers' Top 50 attorneys and/or Top 25 Women Attorneys for 2010. Gordon "Skip" Netzorg and Rebecca Fischer were among Super Lawyers' Top 50 Attorneys. Ms. Fischer also made Colorado Super Lawyers' Top 25 Women, as did Susan Bernhardt. Super Lawyers notes that the lawyers included on these lists received the highest point totals in the 2010 Colorado Super Lawyers nomination, research and review process.

Skip Netzorg has practiced law for more than 30 years, focusing on commercial litigation, with an emphasis on partnership and corporate disputes, securities and fraud litigation, banking litigation, and natural resources and real estate litigation. He is a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers and is a past president of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Netzorg is the recipient of the Best of the Bar award for securities law; is listed in Best Lawyers in America for commercial litigation, banking law, and alternative dispute resolution; and was named Best Lawyers' 2010 Denver Banking Lawyer of the Year. Mr. Netzorg has been named a Top 50 Colorado Super Lawyer since the inception of that recognition in 2006. 

Rebecca Fischer has practiced real estate law in Colorado for more than 25 years, representing clients in the financing and development of major hotel, resort, residential and mixed-use properties within the Rocky Mountain region and beyond. She is a member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and has taught, spoken and written actively on real estate legal issues throughout her career. Ms. Fischer has been one of Super Lawyers' Top 50 Colorado Super Lawyers since 2007 and one of their Top 25 Women Lawyers since 2006.

Susan Bernhardt has practiced law for more than 20 years. Her practice focuses on complex civil and commercial litigation, with an emphasis on business disputes, securities fraud, and partnership and corporate fiduciary duties. She recently served as Chair of the Colorado Bar Association Ethics Committee, and she speaks frequently on litigation and ethics issues. Susan was also named one of Colorado Super Lawyers' Top 25 Women Lawyers for 2009 and 2007.
