March 31, 2010 H-1B Filing Date

Employers needing H-1B "professional" classification for a foreign recruit or student intern should begin preparations right away.  Submitting the employer's H-1B petition on March 31, 2010, for arrival at the immigration agency on April 1, 2010, gives an employer the best chance for snagging one of the 85,000 H-1B quota slots available for the 2011 fiscal year.
