Representative Matters

• Successfully appealed trial court order staying arbitration based on trial court's conclusion that dispute was not subject to parties' arbitration agreement.  The appellate court concluded that the dispute was subject to the parties' arbitration agreement and vacated the trial court's stay.
• Successfully petitioned state board on behalf of licensed medical professional to reverse position it had maintained for over one year, resulting in the removal of a restriction from medical professional's license and reissuance of an unrestricted license.
• Obtained full dismissal of complaint against licensed social worker and recovered fees and costs from plaintiff.
• Participated on defense team that obtained dismissal of $2 billion class action case, recognized by Law Week Colorado as one of the top four defense judgments in Colorado in 2011.
• Obtained full dismissal of complaint against registered nurse and Colorado non-profit; recovered fees and costs from professional liability insurer and enabled client to recover fees and costs from plaintiff.
• Negotiated favorable settlements on behalf of various clients in commercial contract disputes.
