Representative Matters
Represents governmental and private clients in land use, economic development and financing projects. Also, represents clients in projects related to energy development. Recent examples include:
- Represented municipality in annexation and zoning of 640-acre Federal enclave and purchase and sale of 65-acre parcel for development of regional hospital and transit-oriented project.
- For over 25 years has represented municipal client in major land use and financing transactions, including annexation, revenue sharing for financing of infrastructure, and development of major shopping center; redevelopment of former shopping center into mixed-use downtown area; financing and construction of new civic center; financing of golf courses and other park and recreation facilities.
- Represented municipal client in formation of an urban renewal authority for redevelopment of downtown area.
- For over 13 years has served as counsel for a redevelopment authority in converting a former military base into a new award-winning community.
- Represented municipality in annexation of over 200 acres and in sale of water and power for development of ethanol production facility.
- Served as counsel to a major utility in connection with power purchase agreements and project development and financing for gas, wind and hydro-electric generation projects in the Western United States.
